Job Description
Rhode Island Man With A Van is looking for a happy, reliable, strong and personable person to join me on local moving, delivery and specialty transport jobs. This is a part-time, as-needed position, starting at $30/hour, with the potential for more hours, more responsibility and higher pay for the right person as the business continues to grow. If you're looking for some extra income, enjoy physical work and want to work with a small local business where your effort actually matters, this could be a good fit. What you'll be doing
- Loading and unloading furniture, boxes and other items
- Helping with small moves
- Furniture pickups and deliveries
- Moving heavy and awkward items safely
- Helping with specialty/artwork transport
- Occasional event and logistics work Jobs primarily around Newport and Aquidneck Island, with occasional trips throughout RI, MA and NYC I'm looking for someone who is:
- Strong and physically capable; this is hands-on work
- Reliable and punctual
- Careful with people's belongings
- Friendly, professional and easy to work with
- Comfortable working hard and getting the job done
- Able to work independently when needed
- A valid driver's license is a plus Experience moving furniture, working in logistics, construction, landscaping or similar physical work is a plus, but not essential.
Pay:
$30.00- $35.
