  • Valid driver's license.
  • Commitment to safe operations at all times.
  • Position has a high level of physical exertion, potentially in extreme weather conditions. You are expected to self-monitor for safe execution of your duties each day.
  • Ability to single-lift 50 lbs manually; this position requires standing, stooping, bending, stretching, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling.
  • Manage processes including process improvement and planning, analyzing information for potential performance improvements.
  • Requires frequent standing and walking throughout a large facility, walk up and down stairs multiple times a day to reach offices and other departments during a workday.
  • Able to reach with hands and arms, climb and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Ability to work within the manufacturing areas of the facility without climate controls (high-heat, cold).
  • Product knowledge; problem solving; quality-focused; strong work ethic; positive attitude.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure and other measuring gauges as required.
  • Must be able to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately.
  • Must be skilled with hand-tools (drill, saw, hammer, etc) used in crating and securing goods.
  • Excellent organization, documentation, communication, and customer skills - both oral and written; strong attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Must be able to work closely and well with others.
  • Committed to good attendance (this is a key position). Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management.
  • Able to work a standard 8 (eight) hour workday or more, with breaks - as well as overtime when required.
  • Ability to work overtime outside of scheduled shift (which may include weekends and evenings);
  • Ability to self-manage assigned workload distribution; multitask, accept distractions and unanticipated changes, and prioritize in an effective way and excel in a high-paced work environment.

Job Summary:
You will be one of the last team members to handle the goods before the customer sees it. Quality and customer satisfaction a top priority. This position is responsible for the proper crating / packing / securing manufactured goods for transport. Working in teams or independently, you will transport goods via hand-carry, forklift or other transfer equipment as required. It is the goal of this position to ensure it is "done right the first time".
