Professional Mover/Packer

Located in Dyersburg, TN Kimbrell Moving & Packing is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our moving team! This position is considered part-time with the opportunity for full-time hours as our schedule continues to grow during the busy season. As a mover, you'll help customers pack, load, transport, and unload household and commercial items while providing excellent customer service. Every day is different, and the job keeps you actively in shape, moving, and working as part of a team. We're looking for people with strong work ethic, positive attitudes, and the ability to handle physical work in a fast-paced environment. Moving experience is a plus, but not required. We're willing to train the right person. This position also offers opportunities to travel with accomodations across the country for long-distance moves. Duties Safely load and unload household or commercial items using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, etc. Pack items securely using packing materials to prevent damage during transit. As-needed to operate box trucks or other commercial vehicles with ease. Load and unload trucks at various locations, ensuring all items are handled with care. Use proper moving techniques to lift heavy objects safely and avoid injury. Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles throughout shifts. Monday-Friday, occasional weekends. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse work, moving services, or delivery driving is highly preferred, but not required. Reliable transportation and punctual. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred ; experience with box trucks or courier vehicles is a plus. Ability to lift 75 lbs + repeatedly and perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods. Comfortable with working in heat, cold and occasionally long days. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during moves or deliveries. Comfortable driving large trucks and navigating routes efficiently. Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long durations.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
