Job Description
Overview We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and relocation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' belongings are handled with care and delivered safely to their new locations. Se habla español tambien. Responsibilities Load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Safely transport items to designated locations, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and forklifts as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both the warehouse and during moves. Assist in packing and unpacking items as required by clients. Drive box trucks or other vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at destinations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Qualifications Experience in moving or delivery services is preferred but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Valid driver's license; commercial driving experience is a plus. Familiarity with operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Forklift certification is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to adapt to changing schedules.
