Household Goods Move Coordinator Location:

Houston, TX Full-Time | Hybrid after initial 90-day in-office training period JML Search is partnering with a global organization to hire a Household Goods Move Coordinator for its Houston operations team. This is a client-facing operations role focused on coordinating moves and providing a high level of service throughout the moving process. Candidates should ideally have prior experience or working knowledge of the moving industry and understand how a move works from start to finish . Experience can come from residential or commercial moving and domestic or international moves . Direct experience with a moving or Household Goods (HHG) provider is preferred, but we are also open to candidates from related backgrounds who have meaningful exposure to moving services and understand the process. What You'll Do Coordinate moves from initiation through final delivery Serve as a key point of contact for clients, customers, moving companies, and service providers Coordinate and communicate the door-to-door moving process Coordinate and review move surveys and estimates Work with moving partners to understand move requirements, pricing, and service needs Coordinate origin and destination services Track moves and proactively communicate status throughout the process Identify and resolve service issues, delays, or other challenges Maintain accurate move and client information Provide a high level of customer service throughout each move Work closely with internal operations team members and external service partners What We're Looking For Candidates should have experience with or working knowledge of moving/Household Goods services and a practical understanding of the overall moving process.

Residential or commercial moving Domestic or international moving Household Goods (HHG) moving operations Move coordination Move surveys and estimating Understanding of the door-to-door moving process Origin and destination services Working with moving companies, carriers, and service providers Coordinating moves from initial request through final delivery Communicating with customers throughout the moving process Relevant experience may come from a moving company, Household Goods provider, transportation/logistics company, destination services, relocation company, or similar organization . We're Open to Different Backgrounds You do not necessarily need to come directly from a Household Goods moving company. We are also interested in candidates with backgrounds in: Logistics or transportation coordination Destination services Real estate Relocation High-touch customer or client service in related sector within moving Candidates from these backgrounds should have some prior exposure to moving services and an understanding of how the moving process works . Following the initial training period, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule with regular in-office attendance. Candidates should be within a reasonable daily commute of the Houston office. Compensation $55,000-$65,000 base salary , depending on experience.
