Job Description
Job Summary Local moving company is looking for a reliable moving partner to join a two-person crew on a consistent basis. You'll work alongside the owner-operator on residential and light commercial moves, helping pack, load, and unload furniture and boxes safely and efficiently. This is a great fit for someone who wants steady, predictable work with the same partner and crew rather than one-off gigs. Duties Lift, carry, and load furniture, boxes, and other household items into and out of moving trucks Wrap and pad furniture to prevent damage during transport Safely navigate stairs, doorways, and tight spaces with bulky items Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture (beds, tables, shelving, etc.) Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional manner Help plan efficient truck loading to maximize space and protect items Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tire pressure, securing cargo) before each job Keep the truck and equipment organized and in good condition Qualifications Previous moving, warehouse, or physical labor experience Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to job sites Strong communication and teamwork skills Punctual and dependable schedule availability Customer service experience Basic familiarity with furniture assembly/disassembly Join us today to be part of a motivated team dedicated to excellence in moving services!
