Mover

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Mover to support clients during important life transitions by providing professional, respectful moving services. This role encompasses more than just physical labor—it requires empathy, discretion, and a strong work ethic. In addition to moving tasks, you may also be expected to assist with deep cleaning, decluttering, and dehoarding, depending on client needs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and maintain a non-judgmental approach while helping individuals transform and settle into their new living spaces. While our primary location is Richland , we are actively seeking movers in Yakima , Walla Walla , Spokane , and surrounding areas. Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture and other items onto and off trucks Pack, wrap, and secure items to prevent damage during transportation Drive trucks or vans to transport items to designated locations Deliver furniture to client homes within specified timeframes Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery Operate manual transmission vehicles as required Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, equipment, and work areas Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving laws, and follow UTC (Utilities and Transportation Commission) regulations Drive to potential clients' homes across Southeastern Washington to perform on-site viewings and assessments Respond professionally and knowledgeably to inquiries and requests from clients and case managers while on-site Maintain accurate records of jobs, including signed client paperwork Actively participate as a crew member in all assigned tasks, including moving, deep cleaning, and dehoarding services Collaborate effectively with a crew of 2 to 6 team members on job sites Ensure you and all employees adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Pass a DSHS background check (Required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required) Ability to safely lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day Excellent physical stamina and endurance Strong attention to detail to ensure items are handled with care Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Good communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and case managers Ability to maintain professionalism in extreme dehoarding and deep cleaning situations Previous experience as a mover or in a similar role is preferred, but not required DOT transportation experience is preferred, but not required This position may require occasional weekend or evening work based on business needs.
