Please visit to learn more about our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Moving Professional to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely handling, loading, unloading, and transporting household and commercial items. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling will ensure smooth moves for our clients. This position offers a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and efficiency are paramount.
Responsibilities Elite Client Service & Representation :
Act as the face of the company by arriving in full uniform, maintaining a positive attitude under pressure, and conducting formal pre-and post-move walkthroughs to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
Vehicle Operation & Safety :
Safely operate commercial moving trucks (often up to 26 feet) in various traffic and weather conditions. Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify oil, tire pressure, and equipment status.
Physical Labor:
Repeatedly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items (often 75-100+ lbs) through tight spaces, including stairs and narrow hallways. Use professional equipment like dollies, ramps, and hand trucks with skill.
Property & Asset Protection:
Implement a "zero-damage" philosophy. This includes installing floor runners, door-jamb protectors, and banister covers before moving a single item to protect the client's real estate as much as their belongings.
Professional Packing & Protection :
Wrap furniture in protective pads and blankets and use specialized materials for fragile items. Disassemble and reassemble large furniture, such as beds and tables, as required.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain meticulous records, including digital or paper logs, hours of service (HOS), and weight station documentation. Ensure all legal contracts and service agreements are explained clearly to the client before signatures.
Expert Vehicle Stewardship:
Maintain a "parade-ready" truck. This means keeping the cab and cargo area organized, clean, and stocked with all necessary tools and supplies at all times to demonstrate operational excellence.
Strategic Team Leadership:
Lead crew members with clear, respectful communication. You are responsible for enforcing safety protocols, ensuring the team remains on schedule, and mentoring junior movers in professional etiquette.
Discreet & Ethical Conduct:
Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy for all clients. Handle all personal belongings with the utmost respect and ensure secure transport for sensitive or high-value shipments. Experience The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional moving experience, including at least 12 months spent leading crews of 3-5 people. You must demonstrate a mastery of truck-loading geometry to maximize space while ensuring a zero-damage transit for every client.
