Job Overview We are seeking an experienced & proficient Helicopter Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) specialized in Robinson helicopters. This role offers an exciting opportunity to mentor aspiring pilots, enhance aviation safety standards, and share your expertise in helicopter operations. As a CFI, you will deliver comprehensive flight training, ensure adherence to federal regulations, and foster a positive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds. Your leadership and communication skills will be vital in shaping the next generation of skilled helicopter pilots. Responsibilities Conduct flight training sessions for students on Robinson helicopters, ensuring all lessons meet FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations and safety standards Evaluate student performance through detailed assessments, providing constructive feedback to promote skill development Develop customized training plans tailored to individual student needs and progress levels Maintain accurate records of all training activities, flight hours, and evaluations in compliance with regulatory requirements Supervise and mentor junior instructors or team members, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious environment Communicate effectively with students, team members, and regulatory authorities to ensure clear understanding of procedures and expectations Stay current with industry best practices, updates in aviation regulations, and advancements in helicopter technology to continuously improve training quality Qualifications Valid FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate and proficient in Robinson helicopters or equivalent certification R22/R44 Demonstrated supervising experience in aviation or helicopter training environments Strong command of English for effective communication and instruction In-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations related to helicopter operations and flight training Proven time management skills to efficiently schedule lessons and manage training sessions Analytical skills necessary for evaluating student performance and safety procedures Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide students through complex maneuvers Excellent organizational skills for maintaining detailed training records and compliance documentation Military aviation experience is highly desirable, bringing discipline and operational expertise to the role Join us to inspire future helicopter pilots while advancing your career in a vibrant, safety-focused environment.
