F9-23 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Instructors will be responsible for teaching face to face classes. Applicants will need to demonstrate a willingness to be flexible to accommodate the varied needs of a diverse student population. Please specify on your application what you would like to teach from the following areas. If you are qualified in an area not listed please include this information. Logistics MSSC Certified Instructor Duties The successful candidate will:
  • Teach face-to face classes to include mainly days, with the possibility of some evenings and some weekends on and off campus.
  • Be flexible to the needs of the students.
  • Complete necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in other educational activities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Must have extensive experience in the required field of expertise. Must be able to teach required field in a classroom or work shop environment. Must possess and demonstrate effective communications skills. If selected for hire, applicant must be willing to complete Manufacturing Skill Standards Council's (MSSC) Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certification Training and MSSC Instructor Authorization Training. Preferred Qualifications Five years of prior experience in an industry related to Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Distribution, Warehousing, and/or Manufacturing environment. Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college. On-line teaching experience. Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certification and Authorized
