Job Description

1.0 DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AeroGuard Flight Training Center is seeking a highly motivated Training Manager responsible for creating a safe and effective training environment for students. Additionally, the Training Manager provides support and guidance to flight instructors ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance. The position will report to the Campus Director and will focus on the following key responsibilities: Student Performance Manage student performance based on program specific objectives.
Those objectives may include:
Training timeline Aircraft flight hours Successful completion of missions Identify struggling students and coordinate with scheduling and other stakeholders regarding corrective action. Instructor Management Responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring Flight Instructors. Provide training support to help Flight Instructors be successful in the missions they are executing. Coordinate and communicate student goals with assigned flight Instructor. Conduct training missions as needed. Identify and report standardization/performance issues with Flight Instructors.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all training activities comply with relevant aviation authority regulations and other relevant standards. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The person in this role must bring clarity and process to a fast-paced environment, but also be able to build scalable solutions to enable growth.

2015 requirements by adhering to processes and procedures 2.0 REQUIREMENTS 2.1 EDUCATION High School diploma or equivalent is required; two-year or four-year college degree preferred. Meets AeroGuard Flight Training Center Stage Check qualifications if not already a Stage Check Pilot (Preferred). 2.2 SKILLS and
ABILITIES
Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time throughout 10-hour work day. 2.4 KNOWLEDGE Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI preferred 2.5 EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED Computers and computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite. General office equipment such as facsimile, copier, laminating machine, etc. 3.0 PHYSICAL
AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Will be working primarily inside the facility. Frequent exposure to aircraft, simulators and equipment. May require prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 4.0 OTHERS Extreme attention to detail. Self-starter, does not wait for others to provide work, finds ways to keep busy or help others. Works with minimal supervision. Innovative/creative, finds faster ways to do things to save time to the organization and the client. Flexible/adaptable to fast changing pace and instructions according to priorities
