Type:
Full-Time In-Office Join a premier Part 135 operation supporting elite aviation standards. Worldwide Jet Charter is seeking a highly organized and operationally driven Assistant Chief Pilot to support the Chief Pilot in overseeing flight operations, pilot training, regulatory compliance, and company-wide safety and security programs. This role is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring operational readiness, supporting pilot performance and compliance, and maintaining FAA and TSA regulatory standards across the operation. Key Responsibilities Flight Operations & Pilot Oversight Support the Chief Pilot in day-to-day flight operations and pilot management Assist with pilot onboarding, training oversight, and operational integration Participate in pilot hiring processes, evaluations, and ongoing performance monitoring Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Serve as a resource for pilots regarding operational and compliance matters Training & Compliance Oversee pilot and cabin attendant training programs (CAE, FACTS, recurrent scheduling) Monitor pilot currency, qualifications, and training requirements Maintain training records and ensure FAA compliance Track check airman requirements and coordinate training needs Support INDOC processes and pilot onboarding programs Regulatory & Audit Support Maintain compliance with FAA, TSA, Wyvern, and ARGUS standards Access and review FAA PRD records and pilot background information Support internal and external audits and ensure operational readiness Assist in maintaining manuals, documentation, and regulatory records Security & Safety Programs TSA Liaison Act as TSA Liaison and assist with compliance oversight Support DOT Drug & Alcohol Program (DER responsibilities as assigned) Coordinate CHRC fingerprinting and security clearances Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and security regulations Operational & Administrative Leadership Support Provide direct support to the Chief Pilot, Director of Operations, and executive leadership Participate in operational meetings; document and communicate key takeaways Support cross-functional coordination with Maintenance, Crew Logistics, and Operations Assist in managing pilot records, databases, and reporting systems Help maintain efficient office and operational workflows Qualifications Required Prior aviation experience required (Part 135 strongly preferred) Strong understanding of FAA regulations and operational compliance Experience with pilot training, records management, or flight operations support Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred (Aviation or related field) Preferred Experience with PRD, Wyvern, ARGUS, or similar compliance systems Familiarity with TSA security programs and regulatory requirements Experience in a supervisory or leadership support role within aviation Knowledge of Jet Insight or similar systems Notary Public or ability to obtain Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM On-call availability for evenings and weekends as needed Why Join Worldwide Jet Charter High-growth private aviation environment Direct involvement in flight operations leadership and compliance Opportunity to grow into senior operational leadership roles Work alongside experienced aviation professionals and executive leadership Now (Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated/distributed without explicit consent of ) Now Job Info Location Phoenix, Arizona, United States Type Permanent Company Details Worldwide Jet Charter, Inc. 22601 North 17th Ave Suite 220 Phoenix, Arizona 85027 USA worldwidejet 21 Open Jobs Available Worldwide Jet Charter, Inc.
