2988838392-2 Apply for this job now Job Description REACH Medical Holdings seeks a Helicopter Pilot to support SPIFR helicopter air ambulance (HAA) missions across the Western U.S. In this safety-driven, mission-critical role, you will conduct day and night emergency and interfacility transports, executing SPIFR and VFR operations in diverse terrain and weather. You will perform thorough pre- and post-flight checks, manage inflight risk, and coordinate with dispatch, ATC, and medical crews. Pilots uphold FAA and company standards, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a just culture focused on teamwork and community service. Responsibilities Safely operate SPIFR helicopter for HAA missions in diverse terrain and weather Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections and documentation Collaborate with medical crews to support safe, efficient patient care and loading Comply with FAA, company, and safety management system (SMS) standards Maintain flight readiness, including currency, training, and checkrides Coordinate with dispatch, ATC, and ground agencies for mission planning Assess weather, risk, and fuel requirements to ensure safe mission execution Participate in safety briefings, debriefs, and continuous improvement activities Support community and interfacility transport operations, day and night Required Skills IFR helicopter operations Helicopter emergency procedures Air medical/EMS flight operations Navigation and flight planning Crew Resource Management (CRM) Weather assessment and risk management Radio and ATC communications Safety Management Systems (SMS) NVG operations Regulatory compliance (FAA Part 135)
