Job Description
REACH Medical Holdings seeks a Helicopter Pilot to support air medical transport missions across California and the Western U.S. In this role, you will operate IFR/SPIFR-capable helicopters for emergency and interfacility transports, executing safe, efficient flights in challenging day, night, and weather conditions. You will coordinate closely with clinical teams, dispatch, ATC, and public safety partners, adhering to FAA and company standards. Pilots participate in regular training, checkrides, and safety programs within a mission-focused, highly collaborative culture. Responsibilities Operate helicopter for emergency and interfacility medical transports in day/night and IFR conditions Ensure strict adherence to FAA regulations, company SOPs, and safety management systems Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and documentation Coordinate closely with medical crew, dispatch, and ground agencies for mission planning and execution Assess weather, terrain, and risk factors to make safe go/no-go decisions Maintain aircraft readiness, cleanliness, and accurate flight/maintenance logs Participate in recurrent training, checkrides, and safety/CRM briefings Communicate clearly with ATC, hospitals, EMS, and public safety partners Required Skills
