Job Description
REACH Medical Holdings seeks a skilled Helicopter Pilot to support emergency air medical transport operations. As part of the Transportation & Logistics team, you will safely operate REACH helicopters for critical care missions, ensuring rapid response to emergencies in collaboration with flight nurses and medical crews. REACH Air Medical Services maintains a safety-first, supportive culture that values precise flight operations, excellent communication, and adherence to strict aviation and healthcare protocols across diverse weather and terrain conditions. Responsibilities Operate REACH helicopters safely for emergency air medical transport missions Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and documentation Evaluate weather, terrain, and operational risks to ensure safe mission execution Coordinate closely with flight nurses, medics, and dispatch for efficient patient transport Comply with all FAA, company, and industry regulations and safety standards Utilize IFR/NVG capabilities as required by mission profile and company procedures Maintain aircraft knowledge, checklists, and currency for all assigned aircraft Participate in safety meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives Communicate clearly with ATC, ground personnel, and medical teams Support a safety-first, team-focused culture in high-stress emergency situations Required Skills Helicopter flight operations (PIC) Instrument flight (IFR) procedures Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations Aeromedical/EMS flight operations Advanced aeronautical decision making (ADM) Crew Resource Management (CRM) Weather analysis and risk assessment Helicopter performance and weight & balance calculations Radio communications and ATC procedures Emergency and abnormal procedures management
