Towing Captain St Petersburg FL American Marine services, LLC DBA TowBOatU.S. Tampa Bay Saint Petersburg, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $60 - $70 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications USCG License Driver's License Merchant Mariner Credential Full Job Description USCG Licensed Captain with Commercial assisted towing endorsement. Provide on the water marine assistance throughout Tampa Bay. Assist with Salvage operations. Operate a 27' World cat twin engine towboat in varying conditions. Respond to dispatches within 30 minutes of callout. Use electronic navigation and dispatch technology to manage cases. Maintain professional communication with boaters, dispatch, and team members. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Perform duties in harsh weather conditions and rough seas. Uphold TowboatU.S. operational policies and safety procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, be enrolled in drug consortium. Valid USCG Master with Towing endorsement. Professional appearance and strong decision making under pressure. Must live or be willing to relocate within 12 miles of St Pete Municipal Marina . Must be underway in 30 min or less from the time of call out. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Pay:

$60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Marine towing & salvage: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

USCG MMC
