Perform maintenance operion checks (MOCs) and general test flights of aircraft to ensure airworthiness upon completion of extensive disassembly for maintenance, repair or replacement of components or aircraft systems. GENERAL EXPERIENCE

: Eligibility requirements for Dual Stus technician positions in this occupion are based on the candide's possession of Federal Aviion Administrion pilot certifices

• OR•approprie military certificions, military rings in the main-frame military aircraft of employment, and the required competencies.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

: Applicion must indice 2 years working experiences in civilian aviion programs; or military service aviion programs (active duty or reserve components); or, in the Army Nional Guard Aviion Support facilities; or, in the Air Nional Guard Operions Groups. Qualificion competencies are determined by three factors in combinion: The aircraft opered; the nure and purpose of assignments; and the degree of hazard. Applicion must demonstre experience in piloting and instructing pilot skills in one or more of the following main-frame/military aircraft: Fixed-wing, rotary, or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA). Experience in mission tasking, intelligence reporting, and applying weher informion. Experience in supervising and/or filing of flight plans and conducting crew briefings. Experience in aircraft preflight inspections, aircraft loading, equipment assessments, and mission manning. Experience in opering aircraft controls and equipment. Experience in performing or supervising the work procedures involved in navigion, in-flight refueling; search and rescue operions; or surveillance and reconnaissance. Experience in developing plans and policies, monitoring operions, and advising commanders.

QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE

Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candides' experience should be evalued on the basis of duties performed rher than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compibility criteria/assignments must be followed.
