Chief Pilot About the Opportunity A well-established Part 135 charter operator based in West Texas is seeking an experienced Learjet 45/75 Captain to join our flight department. This is a great opportunity for a career-minded PIC to fly a modern light jet in a fast-paced charter environment with a strong safety culture and a supportive team. The Role As PIC on the Lear 45/75, you'll fly a mix of charter and contract trips throughout the region and beyond, working closely with the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations to deliver safe, on-time, professional service to our clients.Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command on Lear 45/75 charter and repositioning flights
- Conduct thorough flight planning, weather analysis, and risk assessment for each trip
- Ensure compliance with all 14 CFR Part 135 regulations, company SOPs, and OpSpecs
- Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties to the highest safety standard
- Maintain accurate flight records, logs, and required documentation
- Deliver a high level of service and professionalism to passengers and clients
- Mentor and coordinate with SIC/First Officers as applicable
- Participate in recurrent training, check rides, and company safety programs
- Be available for on-call/rotating schedule as required by charter demand Qualifications
- Current Lear 45/75 type rating preferred
- ATP certificate required
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Prior Part 135 experience strongly preferred
- Strong record of safety, professionalism, and customer service
- Clean FAA record; must pass FAA/company background and drug testing program
- Ability to pass company-required checkride and training
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to West Texas
- Flexible schedule, including availability for on-call and irregular trips What We Offer
