JOB SUMMARY
At Futures Unlimited Community Integration Services, we actively partner with the individuals we serve to tailor activities and experiences that align with their unique needs and desires. Our program emphasizes community participation and is designed to help individuals engage in various community life experiences, including but not limited to:
  • Leisure and recreational activities
  • Communication and socialization opportunities
  • Vocational pursuits
  • PIP leakage to employment
  • Educational training activities
  • Health and wellness promotion
  • Volunteerism and community collaboration
  • Access to public transportation and destination training.
This candidate must be compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting individuals with disabilities in leading fulfilling and independent lives. Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and advocate for individuals' needs and preferences. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while respecting individual privacy and autonomy. Characteristics and Qualifications Successful Candidate must have: High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require specific educational qualifications). Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities in employment or community-based settings is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individual's, and team members. Understanding and commitment to promoting inclusion, independence, and community integration for individuals. Ability to follow individualized plans, adapt to changing needs, and support individuals in achieving their goals. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
Qualifications:
Maintain a clean background clearance Maintain an updated CPR and First Aid card on file Physical Requirements-ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 50 lbs. Maintain a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license, registration, and auto insurance Maintain a vehicle that is reliable in good working condition (at times may have to transport consumers) Working conditions-indoors and outdoors, and at times managing challenging behaviors
