Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and proactive Male Personal Enrichment Coach to design and manage a vibrant daily activities calendar for a disabled adult. This is not a traditional caregiving or medical role. Your primary mission is to enrich the individual's life by sourcing, planning, and participating in meaningful educational, social, and recreational activities. You will act as a bridge to the community, fostering independence, learning, and genuine social connections.
Core Responsibilities Calendar Management:
Plan, organize, and execute a structured yet flexible weekly schedule of diverse activities.
Activity Sourcing:
Research and identify accessible local events, workshops, community classes, and recreational outings tailored to the individual's interests.
Social & Educational Growth:
Facilitate opportunities for community inclusion, friend-making, and life-skills development (e.g., managing money during outings, public transit practice). 1-on-1
Companion Support:
Attend all activities alongside the individual, providing positive encouragement, behavioral support, and safety monitoring.
Logistics & Transport:
Safely transport the individual to and from activities using your personal vehicle. Qualifications & Requirements Experience working 1-on-1 with adults with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities. Highly organized with strong research skills to find unique community resources. Patient, empathetic, energetic, and excellent at communication. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Pay:
$32.00 - $60.00 per hour
