Duties Safely operate various passenger and cargo vehicles including passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousines, and personal vehicles for delivery or transportation services. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across designated local routes. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every trip. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, assisting with luggage or mobility needs, and ensuring a positive experience. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to keep your vehicle in optimal condition for daily operations. Handle heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when loading or unloading cargo or assisting passengers with mobility challenges. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and client interactions while ensuring compliance with all relevant transportation regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, shuttle driver, or in similar passenger transportation roles. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type operated; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for bus or limousine driving. Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize efficiency. Experience with passenger van operation, medical transportation, or personal vehicle delivery is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams. Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely when required. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and adherence to traffic laws at all times. Reliable vehicle maintenance habits to ensure safety and compliance; familiarity with basic vehicle troubleshooting is a plus.
