In this role, you will assist the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. You will be responsible for loading and unloading products, ensuring that deliveries are made on time, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Assist the driver with loading and unloading of goods from the vehicle. Help secure loads to ensure safe transport. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules. Provide support during deliveries, including heavy lifting and moving of items as needed. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment. Communicate effectively with the driver and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. Qualifications Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus. Previous experience driving box trucks or vans is advantageous. Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills is beneficial. Experience in moving or warehouse environments is desirable. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
