Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor Driver, where your driving expertise and customer service skills will shine! In this role, you will operate your personal delivery vehicles. Your primary mission is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient delivery transportation services to clients while adhering to all traffic and transportation regulations. This position offers the flexibility of working independently while delivering exceptional service that keeps our clients coming back. Duties Safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, shuttle buses, and personal delivery vans on designated local routes. Ensure compliance with all state transportation laws and traffic regulations during every trip. Communicate effectively with clients to confirm pick-up and drop-off details, providing a positive customer experience. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage with proper manual handling techniques. Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to real-time traffic conditions for timely arrivals. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in similar passenger vehicle roles. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type operated; commercial or chauffeur licenses preferred. Strong knowledge of local driving routes and traffic regulations; familiarity with GPS navigation tools is essential. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks related to cargo loading. Prior experience operating passenger vans or medical transportation vehicles is a plus. Demonstrated adherence to safety standards and traffic laws in all driving activities. Reliable transportation with a clean driving record; ability to work flexible hours based on scheduling needs.
