Overview We are seeking a proactive and dependable Driver / Room Maintenance professional to join our team. This dynamic role combines safe, efficient transportation services with essential maintenance responsibilities to ensure a comfortable and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff. As a key member of our operations, you will deliver excellent customer service while managing vehicle operations and performing routine room upkeep. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our facility. Duties Safely operate shuttle bus, and personal delivery vehicles, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and transportation regulations. Navigate local driving routes efficiently using GPS navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Transport guests, clients, or staff members to designated destinations with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent client communication throughout each journey. Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including inspecting tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels; report any mechanical issues promptly for repairs. Assist with room maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and minor repairs to ensure a welcoming environment for guests or residents. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or equipment during maintenance activities. Maintain accurate logs of trips, vehicle inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. Skills Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of local routes and navigation systems. Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, shuttle buses, or school buses; chauffeur driving experience is a plus. Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and route planning to optimize travel efficiency. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively during maintenance or transportation activities. Familiarity with state transportation regulations and safety standards for passenger vehicles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients or guests. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify issues early and coordinate repairs promptly. Strong communication skills for client interaction and reporting maintenance concerns efficiently.
