Whether delivering packages, or medical specimens, managing specialized vehicle operations, you will utilize your driving expertise to ensure timely, safe, and courteous service. This role offers flexibility and independence, empowering you to manage your own schedule while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your skills in navigation, vehicle maintenance, and client communication will be key to thriving in this safety sensitive environment. Must be able to pick up the medical specimens after 4Pm and must be delivered by 7pm. A great side job to have with increased volume with good attendance. Responsibilities Execute local driving routes efficiently while adhering strictly to all traffic laws and state transportation regulations. Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing their needs professionally, and ensuring a positive experience. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to keep vehicles in top condition. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as loading or unloading cargo or mobility equipment. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and client interactions for record-keeping and compliance purposes. Experience Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of local driving routes and traffic regulations. Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or chauffeur-driven limousines. Prior work in medical transportation or paratransit services is highly desirable. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route optimization techniques. Demonstrated ability to handle manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and safety protocols for heavy or specialized vehicles.
