Fedex Driver

LR transport Inc contracts with FedEx Ground to provide outstanding delivery service to the central Kentucky areas .Applicants should be available to work Monday- Saturday Trucks dispatch around 8:30 a.m. from the terminal in Shepherdsville K.Y. Hours vary from day to day depending on the number of delivery stops, locations served, and package volume. This is a physical job and requires that the employee get in and out of a vehicle approximately 75 times in a shift in all weather elements. EXCEPTIONS

): Have 12 months of commercial driving experience within the last 3 years preferably in a cargo van or larger. Driving experience must be verifiable. (ACCEPTABLE

EXPERIENCE

may include: Military, Taxi, Uber, School bus, or Landscape driver as well as pizza and newspaper Delivery.)Have a clean driving record (no more than two tickets within the last 3 years and no speeding tickets over 80 mph).Have a qualifying driver's license.

No felony convictions or violent misdemeanors.

Pass a drug test, DOT physical, background check, and a professional driving testBe 21 years of age or older.

Ability to move quickly and handle packages up to 150lbs.

The ability to locate rural addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must and a good general knowledge of our service area is a PLUS.Must be able to learn and adhere to FedEx Ground procedures with high expectations for SAFETY, ACCURACY, SERVICE and ATTENDANCE.Route Experience is preferred but not necessary.
