Job Description
Overview We are seeking a CDL Driver Class A or B. Seasonal driver for this fall, hauling grain. Duties Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents, including first aid and CPR when necessary Maintain vehicle safety by conducting pre-trip inspections, reporting mechanical issues promptly, and adhering to vehicle codes Respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments to maintain schedule integrity Uphold all transportation safety regulations, including heavy lifting protocols when assisting passengers or handling equipment Complete accurate documentation such as logs, incident reports, and shift records Skills Strong knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, state and local commercial driving laws, and transportation safety regulations Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse populations Demonstrated ability in defensive driving techniques and emergency response procedures for transportation incidents Familiarity with child care practices, student discipline strategies, behavior management, and senior care protocols Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness Ability to lift heavy objects safely when required; physically fit to perform duties involving heavy lifting or assisting passengers
