Job Description
The Springfield Thunderbirds are currently seeking Promo Team Interns for the 2026-27 season. This will be a hands-on experience, providing team members the chance to gain relevant expertise in the field as representatives of the Springfield Thunderbirds through various events and functions. Tasks may include but not be limited to:
Essential Functions:
- Participating as representatives of the Thunderbirds at community events
- Setting up and tearing down equipment at events (i.e. yard games, slap shot inflatable game, information tables, Enter-to-Win forms)
- Gathering data from customers through Enter-to-Win forms and other contests.
- Engaging with fans with a strong knowledge of the Springfield Thunderbirds
- Transporting Mascot to and from events.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current Drivers License to get to and transport Mascot to events.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
- Prior experience in customer service Work Environment
- Ability to work with very little supervision and on own.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 30lbs but not on a regular basis. Work Authorization/ Security Clearance Requirements
- Have own transportation or a means to get to and from Job.
