Duties Conduct scheduled pickups from Perryville on designated days, ensuring punctuality and reliability Safely load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Operate personal or company vehicles, including box trucks or other commercial trucks, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route details via mobile devices or other tracking tools Adhere to safe lifting practices when manually handling packages or materials of varying weights Communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisors regarding route status, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries Ensure vehicle safety by performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance needs promptly Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, or delivery driving is highly preferred Familiarity with operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a warehouse or delivery environment Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and driving in urban or rural settings Experience adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards during route driving Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, record keeping, and communication This role is perfect for motivated drivers who thrive on routine, safety-conscious practices, and delivering excellent service.
