Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttles, limousines, or personal delivery vehicles, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across designated local routes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, assisting with boarding and luggage handling, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met at all times. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading cargo or luggage, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and client interactions in compliance with local transportation regulations. Manage client communication effectively to confirm schedules, provide updates, and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver with a strong understanding of local driving routes. Experience operating passenger vans, medical transport vehicles, school buses, or chauffeur-driven limousines. Proficiency with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time adjustments. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to passenger and commercial vehicle operation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during cargo handling or vehicle loading tasks. Strong maintenance awareness to identify vehicle issues early and coordinate repairs as needed. Effective communication skills for client interaction and adherence to company protocols.
