The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a passion for supporting young learners' needs. All positions are paid, emphasizing the importance of safety, customer service, and adherence to transportation regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, or small buses along designated local routes to transport students and staff efficiently. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and overall vehicle condition. Assist students with boarding and disembarking vehicles safely while maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and students regarding schedules or any delays while providing excellent customer service. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs. Perform light maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or bus driver with a strong understanding of passenger vehicle operation. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time directions. Ability to handle manual handling tasks such as loading/unloading boxes or equipment safely. Experience in medical transportation or shuttle driving is a plus but not required. Excellent driving record adhering strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards. Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with school personnel. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of local driving routes and familiarity with state transportation laws is essential.
