Footprint Logistics is seeking a dependable and compassionate Transportation Aide to assist our driver with transporting children to and from a behavioral health program in Trenton, New Jersey. The aide will ride in the company vehicle, help children enter and exit safely, monitor behavior during transportation, and support a calm, respectful environment. This is a non-driving position.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the safe pickup and drop-off of children. Verify each child is released only to an authorized adult or program representative. Help children enter, exit, and remain safely seated in the vehicle. Monitor behavior and communicate concerns to the driver and management. Follow assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements. Maintain professional and compassionate communication with children, families, and program staff. Document incidents or transportation concerns accurately and promptly. Keep the vehicle environment orderly and free from distractions.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old. Experience working with children is preferred. Experience in behavioral health, special education, childcare, transportation, or human services is a plus. Must be patient, attentive, reliable, and comfortable working with children who may have behavioral or emotional needs. Must pass required criminal background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries. Reliable transportation to the assigned work location. Must be available for scheduled morning and afternoon transportation routes.
