Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate various types of commercial vehicles to transport passengers. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional service while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate non emergency medical transport vehicles according to scheduled routes and routes assigned. Transport passengers, seniors, or individuals with special needs, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure vehicle readiness before each trip. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, passengers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during vehicle operation to prevent accidents or violations. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing exceptional customer service and support as needed. Complete accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance reports; report any incidents or mechanical problems immediately. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passengers. Proven experience in bus driving, commercial driving, or similar roles involving passenger transportation. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and basic troubleshooting to perform routine inspections and minor repairs. Experience working with children or seniors; familiarity with behavior management techniques is advantageous. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism and courtesy. Physical ability to assist passengers with mobility needs and perform vehicle inspections.
