This role is vital in ensuring smooth travel experiences for clients, offering punctuality, discretion, and exceptional customer service. Includes handling tasks like commuting, airport runs, errands, and long road trips. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong passion for driving and assisting others. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including sedans, limousines, shuttle buses, and paratransit vehicles to transport clients to their destinations efficiently. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance as needed to ensure optimal performance. Assist clients with boarding, alighting, and luggage handling, providing courteous and professional customer service throughout the trip. Plan routes ahead of time considering traffic conditions, client preferences, and safety regulations to ensure timely arrivals. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on routes or delays, and address any special requests or concerns. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving in various environments including city streets, highways, and residential areas. Support with heavy lifting when necessary for luggage or equipment and assist in vehicle maintenance or minor repairs as qualified. Requirements Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services; familiarity with commercial driving regulations is essential. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., chauffeur's license or commercial driver's license), with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and handle physical tasks associated with vehicle upkeep or luggage handling. Experience with paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure safety standards are met.
