Job Description
The Program Driver will be responsible for developing the weekly schedule for transportation needs for the Visitation program. This will involve communicating with Visitation Workers, completing the weekly schedule, and distributing the schedule to staff. The Program Driver will plan for and provide oversight for all driving assignments including confirming directions, managing changes to the schedule throughout the week and communicating changes to staff. The Program Driver will provide oversight to the vehicle and ensure all maintenance and cleaning needs are completed. The Program Driver will be responsible for transporting Visitation Program clients to approved destinations as scheduled. Additional driving responsibilities may be assigned as deemed appropriate by the designated Supervisor. This position can be full or part-time. Multiple late afternoon/possible, Saturdays required. If fulltime, that position would include office and visit center cleaning duties. The Program Driver will hold a minimum of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience. Driving experience required.
