Shared Living Provider - Aroostook County Maine

You will work from home but you must live in Aroostook County, Maine. Are you an empty nester? Do you have room in your life for an adult with disabilities to share your home with you? Do you want to work from home? Do you like the idea of working for yourself? Are you a caring, nurturing person who wants to help people achieve their hopes and dreams? If so, we have a dream job for you! For a contracted annual stipend, paid in biweekly increments, you will provide care for a person with disabilities in your home. You would invite this person to be part of your family and share your life and activities with you. You would also be entitled to collect room and board payments in addition to your stipend. Your stipend is not subject to taxation! We will help you find the perfect "match" for your lifestyle and set up. We are a small, local, Maine-based social service agency. You will have access to the CEO when you want that level of support, 24/7. You will not be dealing with leadership who are out of state or based in other parts of Maine. We are right here, near by, and we respond. Our leadership team has had over 100 years combined of experience in this field.
