On-Site at Warehouse + Event Venue Overview Fotably Photo Booth is seeking a dependable Independent Contractor Event Logistics & Delivery Partner to help transport, load in, set up, break down, and return our premium photo booth equipment for weddings, galas, corporate activations, and brand pop-ups. This is a 1099 independent contractor role . This role is ideal for someone with a cargo van, truck, or towing-capable vehicle who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in careful transport, and can navigate event venues professionally. This is not standard dock-to-dock delivery. Our equipment is high-value, client-facing, and part of polished event environments, so we need someone who can handle both the logistics and the light assembly side with care. You will pick up equipment from our warehouse, transport it safely, move it through venues, complete straightforward setup and breakdown, and help ensure everything gets back safely and in good condition. If you already do hot shot, moving, courier, event support, or white glove delivery work, this is a strong fit.

Responsibilities What You'll Do:

Pick up photo booth equipment and/or enclosed trailer from our warehouse Safely transport equipment to venues across Houston and occasionally other Texas cities (with compensation adjusted accordinly) Navigate venue load-in procedures, parking, service entrances, elevators, and timing requirements Unload, move, and position booth components carefully inside the venue Complete basic setup and breakdown of booth structure and related items Protect booth panels, covers, cases, and accessories during transport and handling Remain available for post-event breakdown, or return at the scheduled strike time (typically within 4 hours of load-in) Reload equipment carefully and return it safely to the warehouse Communicate professionally with Fotably staff, venue teams, and clients when needed Follow repeatable handling, transport, and setup procedures exactly Flag damage, missing items, or logistical issues promptly Help maintain a clean, organized, and dependable delivery process

Qualifications Required & Preferred:

Reliable cargo van, sprinter van, box truck, or towing-capable vehicle preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Must carry and maintain your own applicable commercial insurance, including vehicle insurance, and be able to provide proof of coverage If towing, must have appropriate vehicle capacity, hitch setup, and insurance for that work Comfortable lifting, loading, unloading, and moving heavy event equipment Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and move larger items with proper equipment or team support Strong punctuality and reliability Comfortable with weekends, evenings, and event-based scheduling Calm and professional in fast-moving venue environments Able to follow directions and repeat a setup process consistently Good communication skills and professional appearance Experience with delivery, moving, hot shot, event setup, logistics, or white glove transport strongly preferred Experience towing a trailer is a plus Two-person team capability is a major plus for more complex load-ins and larger events Dollies, straps, blankets, and general load securement knowledge is a plus Independent Contractor Requirements This is a 1099 contract role You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, vehicle costs, and business expenses You must operate as an independent contractor and invoice Fotably for approved jobs You may be asked to provide a W-9 and certificate of insurance before beginning work

Compensation Per-Event Pay:

Typically $400-$650+ per event depending on scope, distance, event timing, vehicle requirements, and whether the job is handled solo or as a two-person team.

Typical Compensation Example:

Around $650 per event for a two-person team with vehicle handling pickup, transport, setup, breakdown, return, and waiting/on-call time.

Repeat Work Opportunity:

Strong performers may receive ongoing repeat bookings. Events are scheduled weeks in advance. Travel Pay /

Mileage Consideration:

Additional compensation may be offered for events outside the Houston metro area or for Austin/Dallas runs.
