Responsibilities Safely operate various passenger vehicles including vans, shuttle buses, limousines, and other client-specific transportation modes. Manage local driving routes efficiently while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and state transportation laws. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with passengers and clients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when loading or unloading cargo or luggage. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met at all times. Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery or pick-up schedules promptly. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transit. Skills Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of local driving routes and client communication. Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, buses (including school bus driving), or limousine services. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning software for efficient travel management. Knowledge of traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols for commercial driving. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks related to cargo or luggage handling. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients, dispatchers, and team members. Experience in medical transportation, chauffeur driving, paratransit services or shuttle driving is a plus.
