Train Conductor / Switchman Launch your career with one of North America's largest vehicle distribution centers! Have you ever wondered how new vehicles get from the factory to the dealership? Join our team and play a vital role in moving railcars safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment where safety is our top priority. No prior conductor experience is required! We provide 2-3 months of paid, hands-on training to prepare you for success. What You'll Do Safely switch and move railcars throughout the facility. Support the loading and unloading of railcars. Assist with train arrivals and departures. Follow all safety procedures while working around trains and heavy equipment. What We're Looking For At least 18 years old . Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and squat throughout the shift. Available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Pre-Employment Requirements Pass a drug screen and alcohol test. Pass a 7-year criminal background check. Valid driver's license and original Social Security card.
Current DMV driving record with:
