About this Position This is an exciting opportunity to join the hottest new bungee site in America, during our inaugural season , in the duel role of Retrieval Operator/ Scheduler. This involves picking up bungee jumpers at water level, delivering safety briefings and performing guest harnessing. The Great Bungee Company is the flagship U.S. site from the owners of Great Canadian Bungee , one of North America's longest established bungee and zipline operators. With over 30 operating seasons , we bring proven training programs, established management systems, and operational excellence to this brand-new destination. Although we highly value experience within similar outdoor based positions , this role does not require direct industry experience. Instead, we're looking for individuals who can demonstrate professionalism, confidence, strong teamwork and communication skills, and a genuine love for working dilligently in an outdoor environment. Responsibilities Retrieving jumpers after their activities by boat. Harnessing and briefing jumpers on the tower. Providing excellent customer service to the jumpers and riders. Progressing to being able to train future new team members. Participating in ongoing training. Maintaining and inspecting all equipment. Work Period The regular season at The Great Bungee Company is typically scheduled to run from April until the end of November. Jumping activities are scheduled 7 days a week during this time period. The number of hours that you will work each day of the week fluctuates based on the demand for jump reservations. This season from now will look like this:
July & August:
~15-25 hrs per week September to
November:
~10-20 hrs per week

July 24th, 2026 Work Location The Great Bungee Company's jump site is in the Old Standard Quarry in Harpers Ferry. 50 Peregrine Lane, Harpers Ferry, WV, Candidate Requirements MUST Be at least 21 years of age . Have your own car or a reliable means of transportation. Previous experience working in a team environment Previous customer service experience is an asset. Possess First-Aid/CPR or be willing to take. Be a strong swimmer capable of passing an onsite swim test. Must take part in a water rescue course provided by The Great Bungee Company. Be able to work in an all weather environment.
