Office Manager Requirement:

Responsibilities:

Support and report to the captain, keep the vessel clean, assist in all tasks to maintain vessel and safety equipment, secure the vessel to the dock, assist in carrying needed equipment to the vessel, help run ATV, UTV, Chainsaw and heavy equipment, ability to take direction but also ability to take initiative to start tasks needed. Provide freight transport support under the direction of the Captain and the OHNC Office Manager.

Maintenance:

Check inventory of the Sitkalidak Cabins, provide a list of maintenance needs to the OHNC Office Manager, check oil and battery levels of all equipment, vessel and power tools, ensure that all tools and equipment used for OHNC is put away and locked up, perform safety checks on the vessel, ensure the vessel has proper safety equipment, perform safety drills monthly with captain.

Special Projects:

Support and report to the Captain and the

OHNC OLH

Office Manager with tasks assigned to support special projects under the OHNC Group or partner entities projects and programs. Assists with all operations and supports the following: OHNC Community and Special Projects Sitkalidak Sunrise Farm Old Harbor Alliance Bison program Sitkalidak Aquatic Farm Kelp Farm operations Oyster Farm operations

Assist captain with logbooks as directed.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to traverse job sites as needed for inspections of projects and assessing areas, which includes but is not limited to, walking on uneven surfaces/multiple floors; climbing multiple flights of stairs; standing for extended periods of time; climbing ladders; and/or lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to operate ATV with trailer Must be able to operate power tools- chainsaws, mowers, weed whackers, etc. Must obtain some basic maintenance knowledge for cabins and equipment There may be additional project-specific physical requirements.
