CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Boat Testing Specialist for our client's world-class marine engine testing facility in Bridgeport, AL, near Chattanooga, TN. This exciting opportunity allows you to operate a wide variety of premium boats on the Tennessee River while supporting the testing and evaluation of cutting-edge marine engine technology. As a Boat Testing Specialist, you will work closely with engineers and technicians to conduct on-water testing, evaluate vessel and engine performance, document observations, and contribute to the development of industry-leading marine products. When not on the water, you will assist with vessel preparation, maintenance, and facility operations.Responsibilities:
Safely operate various boats in accordance with established testing procedures and performance evaluation protocols. Conduct on-water testing in a variety of weather and water conditions, including challenging marine environments. Monitor engine and vessel performance, identifying, documenting, and reporting irregularities or operational concerns. Accurately record testing observations, performance data, and operational feedback in company databases and reporting systems. Communicate test results and findings effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team members. Assist with boat and engine test preparation activities to support testing objectives. Support the trailering, launching, retrieval, and fueling of test boats. Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs of boats, equipment, facilities, and grounds. Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to a strong safety-focused culture. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support testing, operational, andDesired Background/Skills:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Ability to pass and maintain required drug screening requirements. Strong commitment to safety and responsible vessel operation. Demonstrated ability to safely operate boats at moderate to high speeds for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather and water conditions. Basic knowledge of outboard engine operation and marine systems. Strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and vessel control skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Basic computer proficiency for recording data, observations, and reports. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.Other Information:
