Gift Shop Attendant & Airboat Deckhand (Part-Time)

Location:

The Black Hammock, Oviedo, FL We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member who enjoys working with guests, thrives in a fun lakefront environment, and is comfortable assisting with both retail and outdoor operations.

Responsibilities:

Open gift shop and assist with basic bird care each morning Sell airboat tickets and retail merchandise Operate POS system (Toast experience a plus) Answer phones and assist guests with questions and bookings Coordinate guest check-ins and departures with airboat captains Assist captains as a deckhand: loading/unloading passengers, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and maintaining dock/boat readiness Help keep shop, restroom, and public areas clean and organized Provide excellent customer service throughout the guest experience

Schedule & Pay:

Shifts:

9:00 AM-5:00 PM Must be available to work weekends $15/hour to start Performance review after 3 months 20% restaurant discount during shifts

Requirements:

Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused Comfortable working around water, wildlife, and in outdoor conditions Strong multitasking and communication skills Previous POS (Toast preferred) or customer service experience is a plus Must be able to pass a drug test
