In this job you will be working on a harbor boat. You will be working 12 hour shifts, with 4 nights 4 days and 4 days off. These are not live on boats.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to build and check tow by utilizing various tools/equipment to include but not limited to wrenches, ratchets, shackles, chain straps and wires/cables. Able to move and stack sets of rigging throughout the vessel and barges. Osage Marine requires that their deckhand must be able to move pumps and hoses about the barges and place hoses in wing tank/void for removal of water. Deckhand must be able to complete processes to allow the vessel to take on fuel (inland division). Deckhand must be able to complete daily and periodic cleaning tasks to include but not limited to trash removal, mopping, and painting (general clean up and maintenance). QUALIFICATIONS
Experience preferred but not required. Reliable transportation. Osage Marine requires that you must be 18 or older to board a vessel Osage Marine requires that you be able to meet all physical qualifications per company guidelines. Must have Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or be able to attain it. Osage Marine requires that you be able to speak, read and write in the English language per USCG regulations Must be able to meet physical demands (handle up to 75 lbs-100lbs).
