Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
PIER/BOAT LIFT
technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of boat lifts and pier systems that ensure safe and efficient access to watercraft. Your expertise will help deliver seamless boating experiences for our clients while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, mechanical systems, and construction elements in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute directly to the success of our marine infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and repair boat lifts, piers, and related marine equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols Operate heavy machinery including cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse or construction equipment to load, unload, and position materials Conduct routine maintenance checks on mechanical components of boat lifts and piers to ensure optimal performance Manage materials handling activities using RF scanners and warehouse management systems for accurate inventory control Coordinate shipping & receiving processes for parts and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation Follow OSHA guidelines diligently during all operations to promote a safe working environment Assist in constructing or modifying pier structures as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting techniques Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and shipping & receiving operations Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools Strong mechanical knowledge related to marine systems or construction projects involving boat lifts and piers Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, OSHA safety standards, and heavy lifting procedures Ability to perform precise order picking using pickers or similar technology for efficient project execution Experience in construction environments or with materials handling related to marine infrastructure projects Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance Join us in delivering top-tier marine infrastructure solutions!
