We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Range Safety Officer to oversee the safe operation of shooting ranges and outdoor activity areas. In this vital role, you will enforce safety protocols, manage guest interactions, and coordinate activities to promote a fun, secure, and organized experience for everyone involved. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive atmosphere while maintaining strict safety standards. Duties Monitor all range activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures at all times Conduct safety briefings and demonstrations for guests, including proper firearm handling and range etiquette Enforce rules related to firearm use, guest conduct, and range operations to prevent accidents or unsafe behavior Manage guest services by assisting visitors with equipment, providing guidance, and addressing concerns promptly Oversee event management for shooting competitions or group activities, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish Handle conflict management by calmly resolving disputes or issues among guests or staff with professionalism and tact Maintain accurate records of range usage, safety incidents, and equipment inspections Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, or customer service roles with a focus on guest interaction and safety management Strong background in conflict management and conflict resolution techniques Experience with event management or coordinating group activities in a dynamic environment Excellent public speaking skills for delivering safety briefings and instructions confidently Knowledge of firearm safety protocols and experience working with firearms preferred but not required Ability to handle cash transactions accurately if required for rentals or merchandise sales Experience working with children or in family-friendly environments is a plus Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in fast-paced settings such as resorts or entertainment venues Join us as a Range Safety Officer and be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable experiences while prioritizing safety.
