Apply 3rd Officer - Cruise Location Worldwide Job Type Permanent Stand navigational watches as Officer of the Watch (OOW) under the direction of the Master and Chief Officer. Conduct passage monitoring, position fixing and navigation using electronic and traditional systems. Perform… Responsibilities Stand navigational watches as Officer of the Watch (OOW) under the direction of the Master and Chief Officer. Conduct passage monitoring, position fixing and navigation using electronic and traditional systems. Maintain a proper lookout and ensure compliance with COLREGS, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW and company procedures. Assist with lifesaving appliances, firefighting equipment and emergency preparedness. Perform assigned emergency duties and participate in drills and training. Assist with mooring, anchoring and general deck operations. Support maintenance of deck equipment, safety systems and vessel structure. Supervise deck ratings as required, ensuring safe and efficient completion of work. Maintain accurate navigation logs, reports and safety documentation. Assist with inspections, audits and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Promote effective bridge teamwork and apply Bridge Resource Management (BRM) principles. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements STCW-compliant OOW Unlimited Certificate. Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent). Required flag-state certifications, including GMDSS, PSCRB, AFF, PFRB, etc. Passenger or cruise vessel experience preferred. Strong written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage. Professional conduct, leadership skills and commitment to safety.
