Operations Assistant Manager Job Summary:
As a Range Safety Officer at 88 Tactical, you will be interacting with a variety of people who are seeking a safe and fun shooting experience. As an RSO, you will help in showing customers proper gun handling, shooting technique, and answering customers firearm/training questions. Other responsibilities include maintaining all the safety protocols and routine range maintenance. Candidates must possess effective communication skills, a high attention to detail and a relentless work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Supervise and direct a safe and efficient range. Enforce all firearms and range safety rules on the range. Conduct ranges safety briefings, as necessary. Be an example to all customers by practicing safe firearms handling and following all range safety rules. Assist shooters with stoppages, malfunctions and other issues or questions on the range. Control the range and lead or assist with any emergency procedures. Know and execute emergency response plans when required. Responsible for watching the CCTV camera system to observe any safety violations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Responsible for the following routine duties: Restocking of targets and personal protective equipment. P.O.S. Check-in & Release of Liability Waiver verification
Qualifications:
Highly self-motivated and able to work without direction. Ability to perform well under pressure. Flexibility to work morning, night, and weekends. Work inside a shooting range facility. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds at any given time. High School Diploma or GED. Must have firearms handling experience.
