Job Description
Every morning, someone in our community wakes up wondering if they'll have a hot meal today. As a Home Delivered Meals Driver with Wasilla Area Seniors, Inc., you make sure the answer is always yes. This part-time role (averaging 5 - 7 hours per day) puts you behind the wheel of a WASI vehicle, delivering nourishing lunches to older adults across the Mat-Su Valley. It's more than driving — it's often the one daily check-in that gives families peace of mind. What You'll Do Deliver hot lunches on assigned routes using a WASI company vehicle Perform daily check-ins with the Program Manager Monitor client safety and well-being, reporting any concerns to your supervisor Ensure food quality, portion control, and proper storage during transport Keep vehicle logs current Maintain a clean vehicle interior; run through carwash biweekly or as needed Report windshield chips promptly to avoid costly replacements Uphold HIPAA and client confidentiality standards at all times
