Job Description
City Produce started in 1958 as a retail produce store in Fort Walton Beach, FL, specializing in premium fresh fruit, vegetables, specialty foods, and dairy. We work every day to drive consistency in the areas most important to our customers: Customer Service, Quality, Food, Safety, Reporting, Technology.
Essential Functions:
Deliver Products to customers on assigned routes in a safe and timely manner Load and unload products from the vehicle following proper handling procedures Use pallet jack to move products as necessary Verify orders for accuracy before departure and upon delivery Conduct Pre/post trip inspection and all responsibilities outlined by the FMCSA and DOT regulations Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive Operate vehicle safely within company guidelines minimizing accidents, traffic violations and complaints from the publicQualifications:
At least 1-year successful experience driving a box truck or higher as required Possess a valid Class E License Carrier Safety Administration knowledge DOT physical examination and Pre-Employment Drug Test Speak and write English satisfactorily No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and proven safe PSP score Organized and attention-to-detail approach Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following all safety proceduresCompensation:
$19.00- $20.
Schedule:
Monday- Sunday (Off one day during the week. Must work one weekend day) 4:00am
